Some children are born with everything, and some have to earn everything with courage. This is the story of Nishi Kesarwani from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.
Nishi lost both her parents at a very young age. Life tested her when she needed love and support the most. But even in those difficult days, she held on to one thing very tightly – her dream to study.
A Dream That Found a Family in Smile For All Society
When Smile For All Society met Nishi, we didn’t just see an orphan girl, we saw a fighter.
She was a student of Arya Kanya Inter College, Prayagraj. We decided to support her education from school onwards. And Nishi proved that if you give a child an opportunity, she can change her own destiny.
Her academic journey is an inspiration:
High School (2024): Nishi passed with flying colours, scoring highest in Drawing with 92/100 and securing B1 & A1 grades.
Intermediate (2026): This is where she made us all proud. In UP Board Intermediate Examination, she secured 400/500 with FIRST HONOURS and Distinction in all five subjects – Hindi (75), English (75), Geography (80), Civics (85), and Drawing Design (85).
From a young girl who struggled for support to a girl who is getting honours in her board exams – her journey speaks for itself. The photo of her receiving a gold medal on stage is proof of her hard work.
And through it all, she had only one thing to say:
“Ma’am, if you support me, I will work hard and crack the IAS examination.“
The Next Big Step: College Admission 2026
Today, we are sharing our happiest news.
With the generous support of one of our sponsors and a dear friend from Hyderabad, Nishi has taken admission for B.A. at Arya Kanya Degree College, a Constituent College of University of Allahabad.
On 17th August 2026, her B.A. Course Fee was successfully paid and her admission is confirmed. She has chosen Medieval History, Political Science and English Literature – the perfect foundation for her IAS dream.
The girl who once worried if she could study after Class 12, is now a university student.
