When I was in class 10th, life felt uncertain. I had no idea what to do next — which stream to choose, where to go, or how to manage the expenses that come with higher studies. I didn’t want to take the Arts, but Science seemed out of reach because of financial constraints. I was standing at a crossroads with confusion and fear clouding my thoughts.
Then, I got the number of Bhunesh Sir through Sriom(My Friend). That one call changed everything. He simply said, “Choose whatever you want, aage ka hum dekh lenge. Koi dikkat aayegi toh hum hain.” Those words gave me strength and hope I had never felt before.
With his encouragement, I chose the Science stream and started studying at Deoghar, a low-budget institution. The teaching quality wasn’t great, and things were tough, but I didn’t lose faith. Later, my friend, Sriom, who was studying in Bhagalpur, told me to come there — and again, with Bhunesh Sir’s help, I made the move.
That’s when my real connection with Smile For All began. From that moment, everything changed. I got connected with Bhunesh Sir, Neha Ma’am, and associated with Smile for All. They didn’t just help me with my studies; they guided me, supported me, and stood by me like family.
With their constant encouragement and belief in me, I worked hard — and as a result, I got into IIT Madras. Even now, when I think about it, I can’t believe how far I’ve come.
Bhunesh Sir came into my life like an angel — a farishta. He didn’t just help me academically; he supported me in every personal struggle and motivated me whenever I felt low. He always gives me direction about what to do in life, and even today, whenever I feel confused, I call him — and he always guides me in the best possible way. He taught me that kindness and guidance can truly transform lives.
Today, when I look back, I realize that Smile For All is not just an NGO — it’s a family that uplifts dreams, restores hope, and changes lives one student at a time. I’ll forever be grateful to Smile For All, to Bhunesh Sir, Neha Ma’am, and everyone who believed in me.
Because of them, a boy who once had no direction now proudly says — “I’m an IITian.” And that’s the power of a smile — a Smile For All.
