At Smile for All Lucknow Center, On June 29th, our evening class celebrated Sant Kabir Jayanti. We placed Sant Kabir’s photo with marigold flowers. Our students stood with folded hands and paid respect.
Look at the classroom walls. They say Lakshya (Goal), Kritagyata (Gratitude), Jigyasa (Curiosity). These three words are Kabir’s real teaching.
Kabir was born poor. He never went to school. Yet he became a great saint. He said, _“Dheere-dheere re mana, dheere sab kuch hoy”_ – Be patient, good things take time.
Our children learn this every evening.
Kabir asked questions. He said, _“Don’t ask a person’s caste. Ask about their knowledge.”_ We teach our children to ask “Why?” and “How?”. Because questions change lives.
Education is not about morning or evening. It is about giving light when a child is ready to learn.
