Education has become more than a path to employment—it’s the foundation of growth and development.Yet, for millions of people education is still uncertain. But why? Because still education becomes the privilege for the some people. This reality underscores a crucial point: Education is a basic human right.
According to Article 21A, education is human right as it is essential for maintaining human dignity and enhance human potential. Education is an indispensable tool for self-reliant and independent economy.
Then why it still being a privilege?
Imagine a boy who walk miles to go to a school without trained teachers, a girl who is pulled from school because her parents believe that it’s not necessary, a poor parent can’t able to complete child’s education because it requires heavy fund etc. These are not some of the rare example but these are the common situation happening every single day with various children. This not only hinder personal growth but also overall nation’s development as well.
When education treated as a right, it makes a participatory nation with better health and employment. In essence, education works as a multiplier which gives multiple potential returns. When we uphold education as a right, we invest in peace over conflict, opportunity over oppression, and hope over despair.
A better world begins with a commitment to learning—for all, without exception.
