In Prayagraj, 2 learning centers are run by the SFA UP team. One is located near the Boat club and the other near Minto park. Around 40 children come to study every day at Minto park classes and 24 kids attend classes at our center near the Boat club.
Most children are between 8 to 10 years old. Their parents work as labourers in Bamboo industry.
These kids are taught to read and write Hindi , English along with basic mathematics operations like number counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication etc.
12 SFA volunteers take turns in groups to facilitate regular education.
